Over the past twelve months, Fred has been the instrumental force delivering the backend architecture for our most critical external data products. His foundational cloud-native infrastructure enabled the highly successful May 13 launch of VeroSCORE 3.6, delivering an automated appraisal-quality platform with full UAD 3.6 support.
Fred also engineers the vital data pipelines fueling the VeroVALUE AVM and Disaster Vision, which provide lenders with near real-time property risk clarity. His microservices architecture ensures that whether new AI-driven capabilities like the Veros Home Score are deployed as standalone products or integrated into a broader suite, the data pipelines remain resilient and ready for the market. His technical mastery allows our product teams to ship new capabilities rapidly without ever sacrificing the pristine data quality the housing industry demands.
A Legacy of Supportive Leadership
A previous Employee of the Year, Fred consistently demonstrates excellence by anticipating business needs and building robust technical foundations. His legacy of industry impact spans over two decades, having served as the foundational architect behind pioneering platforms like RentRange and Investability.
Despite building the infrastructure that entire segments of the real estate market run on, Fred rarely seeks the spotlight. His human element shines brightest in his dedication to his colleagues. Fred possesses an exceptionally rare combination of skills: he is equally adept at designing complex enterprise cloud architecture as he is at solving day-to-day operational problems for finance and customer support teams. Notably, he designed and built a comprehensive system for margin and financial analysis for Valligent, Veros’s sister company, proactively centralizing business intelligence and automating previously manual workflows to remove daily friction for his coworkers.
