Why Veros Won in 2026
This year’s award specifically recognizes Veros’ pivotal role in one of the most significant modernization efforts in more than a decade: the transition to the new Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) 3.6 standard.
As the technology provider behind the Uniform Collateral Data Portal® (UCDP®), a central gateway for appraisal submissions to the government-sponsored entities (GSEs), Veros has been at the forefront of moving the industry from the legacy 2.6 format to the data-rich, UAD 3.6 standard.
Notable Positive Impact
Our leadership, information technology, engineering, product management, and project management, in the UAD 3.6 rollout, has delivered measurable success for our partners and the broader industry:
- Veros successfully guided direct integrators through end-to-end UAD 3.6 submissions, with many reaching readiness ahead of the GSEs’ 2025 limited production launch.
- The UCDP platform continues to process millions of appraisal submissions each month, now with the enhanced validation and data requirements of the new standard.
- We’ve invested time into providing webinars, guides, and one-on-one support to mitigate operational risks and reduce integration costs for lenders and appraisal management companies.
Looking Ahead
Beyond our work with the GSEs, Veros has extended this modernization collaboration to the FHA, supporting UAD 3.6 alignment within the Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) portal. By modernizing the systems that form the backbone of appraisal data flow, we are ensuring the entire housing finance ecosystem is ready for a more efficient, data-driven future.
