FHA EAD Opens for UAD 3.6 Submissions: PATHWAY Is Ready

FHA’s transition to UAD 3.6 marks another important milestone for appraisal modernization. Veros PATHWAY supports automated UAD 3.6 appraisal delivery to FHA’s EAD portal and UCDP, helping organizations prepare their appraisal submission workflows for the new standard.

On October 1, 2026, the “Federal Housing Administration (FHA) Announces Optional Broad Production Period for Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) 3.6” (FHA 2026-23), marking another important step in the transition to UAD 3.6. FHA is now broadly accepting UAD 3.6 appraisal submissions through its Electronic Appraisal Delivery (EAD) portal.

The FHA encourages Mortgagees and appraisers to review the UAD 3.6 Implementation Preparedness Toolbox resource, available on the EAD portal webpage, for key technical specifications and transition guidance.

PATHWAY Supports UAD 3.6 Delivery to FHA EAD

Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros®) PATHWAY supports automated, system-to-system UAD 3.6 appraisal delivery to FHA’s EAD portal. PATHWAY has already demonstrated successful production delivery of UAD 3.6 appraisals through both Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP®) and EAD. With FHA now accepting UAD 3.6 submissions, organizations can use PATHWAY to automate appraisal delivery now without building and maintaining their own direct integration. PATHWAY also provides appraisal delivery to UCDP, giving organizations a single solution for FHA and Government‑Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) appraisal submission workflows.

Support Across the UAD 3.6 Workflow

Appraisal delivery is only one part of UAD 3.6 readiness. Veros and Valligent, a Veros Software company, can support all important parts of the workflow:

  • VeroSCORE™ provides automated appraisal quality control to help identify potential data, valuation and quality issues.
  • Submission Preview helps identify potential submission issues before an appraisal is delivered to UCDP or EAD.

Organizations can use these capabilities individually or together based on their workflow needs.

FHA’s UAD 3.6 transition follows its own timeline, separate from the GSE transition. Organizations should continue to follow FHA guidance for future transition requirements and dates.
