Veros’ response efforts to COVID-19
A Message from Veros' President & CEO
COVID-19 has appropriately generated significant public attention and changes in guidelines prescribed by health officials such as the CDC and WHO, as well local, state and federal governments. As we monitor the impact and uncertainty of this virus, clear and concise communication is vital. The safety, wellbeing and continual personal and professional support of the people we work with is of the utmost importance to all of us at Veros. For these reasons, we want to communicate that we have implemented our safety and continuity plans.
Global Health and Safety Is Our Top Priority
Supporting Our Employees and Candidates
All Veros employees are required to work from home, and we’re using many communications tools such as video conferencing, chats, and more to stay connected, updated, and to keep the ideas and development flowing.
Veros continues to hire new recruits, but due to the risk and fluid nature of the virus, we have implemented a virtual hiring and onboarding process. All interviews will be conducted via virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams or via conference calls for the foreseeable future. The interviewer will advise all accepted candidates of the process.
Our Commitment To Our Customers During COVID-19
Veros is well-prepared for this type of event. We expanded our technology capacity to ensure all employees can securely access our networks remotely, if and when necessary. Rest assured, Veros is fully capable and committed to providing our business partners full up-time, assistance and support for all our operations and business services.
We enjoy meeting face-to-face with our business partners and try to do it as much as possible. However, at this time, following the recommendations of national and local officials, Veros has temporarily eliminated any non-essential travel. This includes onsite partner/client visits, conferences and other events. Veros has full access to the latest in virtual meeting technology, so we remain ready to continue meeting with our business partners as opportunities and needs present themselves. Throughout the years, Veros has put in place plans, processes and safeguards to allow us to maintain business-as-usual under a wide array of situations.
Rest assured, Veros is sensitive to and prepared for all that COVID-19 may bring; please do not hesitate to contact your sales representative or our customer service representative.
Proactive Community Support
Each day, the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting our relationships and our lives – both personal and business. In addition to our commitment to helping and protecting our employees, we are also committed to helping our community. Veros is donating to national and local organizations that focus on helping healthcare workers fighting on the frontlines as well as organizations fighting to support local communities. Veros is also donating masks to local healthcare and nursing facilities that have been hit the hardest by COVID-19. In addition, as a data & technology company, Veros created its COVID-19 tracking resource, enabling you to see county-level data and visualizations around the spread, and what we hope to see very soon—the decline and end of COVID-19 throughout our nation. We observed a lack of aggregated county-level data and related information surrounding COVID-19 and hope this information proves to be insightful. Veros continues to strive to find other ways to provide help and support during this unprecedented tragedy.
The resource is based on public data from John Hopkins University, the New York Times and other public sources. It is updated as soon as the data is made available from each source and can be viewed by clicking here. Please feel free to share this resource with others. We make this information freely available to all.
We want to emphasize again that Veros is actively monitoring all aspects of this current situation and will quickly communicate any updates or changes that may be necessary. Our hearts go out to all those affected, and we hope all is well with your families, team members and organization. During trying times, proactive, two-way communication is critical, along with creative solutions. If we need to make adjustments in how an engagement is approached, we are committed to doing everything we can to make sure the job gets done and you get what you need. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your Veros contacts if you have any questions, concerns or are in need of any help or assistance.
Be safe and be well,
President & CEO
