Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros), an industry leader in mortgage collateral assessment technologies is seeking a strong Valuation Analytics Product Manager responsible for the further development, maintenance and orderly management of Veros’ collateral valuation products and systems. This candidate must have the unique combination of experience in developing property valuation (real estate and mortgage) strategies, statistical and competitive analysis, product positioning plans, QC and validation models, and ultimately provide system launch and post-launch support. This is not a back-office position. The candidate will also routinely engage in front-line client interaction.

- Manage and lead the Company’s real estate and mortgage property valuation products and systems to gain competitive edge and market share
- Work hands-on to increase the sales and profitability of Veros’ product(s) by working with development, QA, designers, marketing, sales and other operations teams to successfully design, build, sell and deploy the Veros valuation systems
- Identify, analyze and articulate the needs of prospective or existing customers to the development staff and executive team
- Work with the analytics staff to design and develop leading-edge statistical/predictive models from multiple data sources, using the most appropriate techniques and tools in learning and validating statistical results, anomaly detection, and information retrieval
- Articulate model results, logic, actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders as well as clients in a manner that concisely maximizes knowledge transfer and hastens the understanding and bottom line impact of valuation modeling
- Manage and drive product requirements definition, planning and design of new product features and enhancements including but not limited to business requirements and functional specifications documentation
- Define, develop and manage strategies for product positioning, launches, as well as product strategic analysis, and budget management
- Participate in identification and evaluation of ROI of future development efforts and associated expenditures associated with products and systems
- Manage ongoing valuation products and systems enhancements and issue priorities
- Will become subject matter expert for internal and external training to enhance overall product knowledge
- There will be some regional and national travel involved for customer/prospect engagement, presentations, trade shows, corporate events, conferences, internal meetings, and other marketing, sales and development related opportunities
- Minimum two-three (2-3) years of real estate / mortgage residential property valuation experience
- In depth knowledge of all residential types of collateral valuations (Appraisals, BPOs, AVMs)
- Experienced in understanding and developing valuation modeling and data analytics pertaining to software is highly desired
- Ability to quickly build trust, work and communicate with internal product developers, persuade potential buyers, and overcome objections
- Must have prior product management experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Self-disciplined with strong work ethic
- Strong group presentation skills
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)
